Can I trial a class before signing up?
Yes! We offer your first class free, if you think Royal Jiu Jitsu is a good fit for you you can sign up to a pay monthly option or pay as you go.
How do I cancel or freeze my membership
You can cancel or freeze at any time, just drop us an email train@royaljiujitsu.co.uk with 24 hours notice. If you wish to freeze your membership there is a minimum time of one month with no limit on how long you can freeze for.
Do you have changing/shower facilities?
Yes we do, we have male and female changing rooms which include showers and toilets and we have two accessible toilets.
What memberships do you offer?
We currently offer two options 1) Adult Unlimited training for £60 a month/ Kids £40 2) Pay as you go at £10 per class. You can cancel or freeze your membership at anytime with 24 hours notice.
Is there parking available?
At the Queen Alexandra College there is plenty of on road parking on Woodville Road, this is where the entrance to Royal Jiu Jitsu is.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you wish to cancel your membership you must do so in writing to train@royaljiujitsu.co.uk within 10 days notice of your next payment date. Payment will continue occur until the end of the 30 day period.
What should I expect in my first trial class?
You can expect to have a great time! We recommend you attend the Wednesday beginner session at 7pm for your first class, you will be provided with a uniform to wear so bring shorts and t shirt to wear underneath, we have a short warm up of general exercises specific for jiu jitsu followed by some taught techniques.
How old does my child have to be to start classes?
We currently offer one age group for Royal Kids starting at age 8+, this class is catered to all levels from beginner to those more experienced kids.
